SIKESTON -- Deneen Couch, 74, of Sikeston died Friday, May 19, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born May 3, 1926, at Sikeston, son of Clarence and Marian Palmer Couch. He and Oneta Cunningham were married Dec. 18, 1948, in Sikeston.
Couch had worked at Auto Tire and Parts and at Wiese Planning and Engineering Inc., both in Sikeston. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Carroll and Randy Couch of Sikeston, Gaylon Couch of Grants Pass, Ore., Chaylon Couch of Pleasant Hill; a daughter, Joyce Kincade of Benton; two brothers, Joe Couch of Murphysboro, Ill., Finis Couch of Clinton; and 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Lee Fansler officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
