Delphin Lee Nance, 91, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2018, at Chateau Girardeau Health Center.
She was born Jan. 3, 1927, in Tupelo, Arkansas, to Leroy and Viola Tucker Gray. She and Billy M. "Bill" Nance were married for 55 years. He preceded her in death July 25, 2010.
She was director of food service for New Madrid County School District.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include a daughter, Diane (Scott) Buescher of Jackson; two sons, Bill (Kay) Nance Jr. of Sikeston, Missouri, and Gary (Denise) Nance of Smithville, Missouri; three grandchildren, Chris Nance, Travis Nance and Ben Buescher; and two stepgrandchildren, Danielle Hankinson and Joshua Albert.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Morris Waller; and a brother, Buddy Gray.
There will be a graveside service at 11 a.m. Friday at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, with the Rev. Stan Hargis officiating.
