Delpha Kaiser

Delpha R. Kaiser, 87, of Jackson died Saturday, March 15, 2008, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Oct. 13, 1920, near Gordonville, daughter of Arthur and Dora Grossheider Koch. She and Alfred W. Kaiser were married Sept. 29, 1940, in Gordonville. He died June 2, 2006.

Kaiser was baptized and confirmed at at Zion Lutheran Church in Gordonville. She had worked several years in the cafeteria at the Gordonville Elementary School.

Survivors include three sons, Gary Kaiser and Raferd Kaiser, both of Gordonville, Richard Kaiser of Tilsit; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, Arwin Koch of Dutchtown; and a sister, Dorothy Kaiser of Cape Girardeau.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and an infant brother.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Zion Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Wayne Schwiesow officiating.

Interment will be in the church cemetery.
