POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. -- Funeral for Deloris Nations of Poplar Bluff, formerly of Dexter, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. Burial will be in Chalk Bluff Cemetery near Dexter.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today.
Nations, 71, died Monday, June 19, 2000, at Lucy Lee Hospital.
She was born July 13, 1928, in Highland Park, Ill., daughter of J.C. and Sarah Oliver Frame. She and Elvia Nations were married Jan. 27, 1951, in Piggott, Ark.
Nations had lived in Poplar Bluff the past 35 years.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Emanuel and Kenneth Nations of Rock Springs, Wyo.; five daughters, Nancy Lindig of Rock Springs, Sarah Reed of Casper, Wyo., Carolyn Wyatt of Oceanside, Calif., Mary Davidson of Sugar Hill, Ga., Sherin Buhler of Poplar Bluff; and a stepson, Paul Nations of Neelyville.
Also surviving are four brothers, Mearl Frame of Dexter, John Frame of Radcliff, Ky., Bill Frame of Flint, Mich., Joe Frame of Tacoma, Wash.; eight sisters, Mabel Mossman of Duran, Mich., Mary McDaniel of Keego Harbor, Mich., Florence Schatz of Clarkston, Mich., Nora Frame of Pontiac, Mich., Flora Wiegand and Ioleene Musgrave of Dexter, Betty Townley of Sunbury, Ohio, Ruth Nations of Poplar Bluff; 25 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, and two brothers.
