Delores Galloway Needham, 72, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, March 21, 2011, at Southeast Hospital.
She was born Feb. 27, 1939, in Marble Hill, Mo., to Oscar and Pauline Caby Galloway. She and William H. Needham were married Aug. 15, 1975, in Cape Girardeau.
Delores was a graduate of Central High School. She retired after a career as paralegal secretary in the Cape Girardeau city attorney's office. She was a member of the former First Christian Church in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include her husband, William H. Needham of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Lisa L. Jackson of La Crosse, Wis.; two stepdaughters, Cindi Letgrate and Cheryl Noel of Cape Girardeau; a stepson, Greg Needham of Dongola, Ill.; uncle and aunt, Claude and Deloris Caby of Collinsville, Ill.; a grandson, Antony Whorton of Festus, Mo.; four stepgrandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and eight great-stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Galloway and Pauline Caby Scherrer.
Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating.
Entombment will be in Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum.
