NEW MADRID -- Delores Littleton, 43, of New Madrid, died Oct. 11, 1997 at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born Nov. 24, 1954, in Osceola, Ark., daughter of Everdale Warren and Pauline Jenkins Starks of New Madrid.
She was married to James Littleton.
She graduated from high school in Chicago and was of the Pentecostal faith.
She is survived by her mother and step-father, George Starks of New Madrid; her husband; seven brothers, Joe Willie Proby of Hayti, Larry Proby of Cape Girardeau, Terry and James Earl Proby of New Madrid, Rodney Edward Jenkins of Kansas City, George Junior Proby of Osceola, and Sam Junior Proby of Chicago; and six sisters, Kathy Proby of Chicago, Jacquline Wilson and Veronica Proby of Memphis, Tenn., Angelica Proby of Lilbourn, Carolyn Anderson of Indiana and Amanda Proby of Michigan.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Friendship Church of God in Christ in Howardville with Marvel Cranford officiating.
Interment will follow in the Simmons Park Cemetery in Catron.
There is no visitation.
