Delores Lee

Delores Faye Lee, 76, of Commerce, Missouri, died Monday, March 9, 2020, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Jan. 5, 1944, in Commerce to Ray Lee and Isabelle Edmonds Knight. She married Edwin Gene Lee Sr. on July 14, 1961 in Commerce. He preceded her in death Oct. 23, 2007.

She is survived by her sons, Edwin "Butch" Lee Jr. of Scott City and Tim Lee of Cape Girardeau; daughters, Brenda Morton of Lakeside, California, and Barbara Pendergrass of Scott City; brothers, Eddie Knight of Scott City, Tommy Knight of St. Mary, Missouri, Bobby Knight of Benton, Missouri, and Jerry Knight of Commerce; a sister, Peggy Kight of Commerce; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Teresa Williams officiating. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery in Commerce.
