DEXTER -- Dolores L. Parks, 75, of Dexter died at Doctors Regional Hospital in Poplar Bluff Thursday, July 3, 1997.
She was born in Broseley Aug. 16, 1921, daughter of Roy and Lottie Mae McDaniel Abney.
She was a home health nurse.
She married John Thomas Parks at Dudley on Aug. 27, 1938. He died Dec. 29, 1957.
Surviving are two sons, Darrol Parks of Union Lake, Mich., and Jerry Parks of Sulphur Rock, Ark.; a daughter, Patsy Painter of Richmond, Va.; a brother, Charles McDaniel of Poplar Bluff; a sister, Izetta Ward of Broseley; 12 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Hughes, in February.
Service will be held at Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter Sunday at 2 p.m., with the Revs. Bud Meadows Larry Ward officiating. Burial will be in Brown Chapel Cemetery at Broseley.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
