PROMISE LAND, Ark. -- DeLois E. "Wimpy" Foust, 67, of Promise Land died Friday, April 13, 2001, at his residence.
He was born Oct. 5, 1933, in Peach Orchard, Ark., son of William and Beulah English Foust. He married Marcia Gossett on Feb. 4, 1975, in Rockford, Ill.
He owned Wimpy's Resort since 1977 and formerly was a foreman at Wood Vacuum Machine in Rockford from 1950-1977.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Randy Foust of Rockford; two daughters, Cindy Sanchez of Plano, Texas, and Sandra Harkonen of Rockford; and a sister, Derenda Holland of Cape Girardeau.
Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Roller Funeral Home in Mountain Home, Ark.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Lilly Ridge General Baptist Church in Gainesville, Mo., with the Rev. Dale Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Lilly Ridge Cemetery in Gainesville.
