JACKSON -- Delmar Seabaugh, 83, of Jackson, died Wednesday, Jan. 10, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born June 21, 1912, at Sedgewickville, the son of Aaron and Bertha Seabaugh. He married Hazel Statler Feb. 23, 1935.
Seabaugh worked at the former International Shoe Co. in Perryville for 32 years, moving to his farm near Sedgewickville in 1945. He lived there until 1995, when he moved to Jackson. He also worked for the Klein Nursery near Sedgewickville and was a member of the Sedgewickville United Methodist Church.
Survivors are his wife; three sons, Dewey Seabaugh of Neosho, Howard Seabaugh of St. Charles and Mike Seabaugh of Patton; two daughters, Sue Marshall of Bowling Green, Ky., and Nelda Jones of Texico, Ill.; three brothers, Woodrow Seabaugh of Imperial and Raymond and Charlie Seabaugh of Jackson; three sisters, Sadie Dixon of Jackson, Trula Seabaugh of Festus and Geraldine Brotherton of Jackson; 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, two brothers and one sister.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.
Service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Mike Davis officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
