Delmar Feiste

Delmar Otto Feiste, 88, of Fruitland died Wednesday, March 11, 2015, in Fruitland.

He was born July 28, 1926, at Farrar, Missouri, son of Karl and Lydia Petzoldt Feiste. He and Emma Schade were married March 25, 1951.

Delmar was retired from East Perry Lumber Co. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Altenburg, Missouri, and American Legion Post 133 in Perryville, Missouri.

He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Roy (Patty) Feiste of Oak Ridge; a daughter, Ruth Ann (Lloyd) Roth of Frohna, Missouri; a sister, Elda Palisch of Jackson; a brother, Vernold Feiste of Carbondale, Illinois; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and five great-stepgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Altenburg, with the Rev. Mike Gallagher officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery, with military graveside rites provided by the American Legion and Delta Team.

Memorials are preferred to Immanuel Lutheran Church Beautification Fund.
