She was born Aug. 31, 1942, in Cape Girardeau to Oscar LeRoy “Pete” and Verna “Hazel” Duncan Goehman. She married Thomas Albert Weiss on March 27, 1961, in Cape Girardeau.

Delma was a 1961 graduate of Jackson High School. She was a commercial seamstress until she retired.

Tom and Delma enjoyed traveling in their motorhomes. They were volunteers at the Lakeland, Florida, Air Show for many years. They made annual trips to the World of Outlaw Sprint Car Nationals in Knoxville, Iowa, and attended a Sturgis Rally in Sturgis, South Dakota.

Delma enjoyed designing, sewing, selling and gifting Barbie doll clothes at craft shows. She loved spending time with and spoiling her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Delma was an extraordinary mom to her children and mama to her grandchildren and, recently, great-grandchildren. Her family is left with fond memories she created.
