SIKESTON -- Della Van Arsdale, 93, of Sikeston, died Wednesday, July 22, 1992, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. She was born Nov. 14, 1898, in Saline County, daughter of William Letcher and Dora Watt Odell. She married G.P. Van Arsdale, who died May 4, 1968...

SIKESTON -- Della Van Arsdale, 93, of Sikeston, died Wednesday, July 22, 1992, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Nov. 14, 1898, in Saline County, daughter of William Letcher and Dora Watt Odell. She married G.P. Van Arsdale, who died May 4, 1968.

Van Arsdale was a member of Presbyterian Church in Saline County.

Survivors include a son, W.P. Van Arsdale of Sikeston; a brother, Gregory Odell of Warsaw; three sisters, Mildred Odell and Mattie Ray of Marshall, and Julia Eiler of Las Cruces, N.M.

Funeral service is tentatively set Saturday at Campbell and Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery at Marshall.

Crews-Welsh & Ponder Funeral Home of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
