DELLA MAE ARNOLD

ADVANCE -- Della Mae Arnold, 86, of rural Advance died Saturday, April 1, 1995, at the Advance Nursing Center.

She was born April 14, 1908, in Scott County, daughter of Jess and Mary Effie Cliffton Thompson. She married Walter Arnold Dec. 26, 1929, at Bloomfield.

She was a homemaker and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Advance.

Survivors include three daughters, Dorothy Everly of Houston and Betty Livingston and Kay Strobel, both of Bell City; two sisters, Delsie Morse of Bell City and Annie James of St. Louis; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a grandson, four brothers and a sister.

Friends may call today from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Morgan Funeral Home in Advance where a prayer service will be at 7.

Funeral mass will be Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The Revs. Lewis Hejna, Leonard Chambers, Fredrick Lutz and Normand Varone will officiate, with burial in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
