MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Della Faye Johnson, 92, of Marble Hill, formerly of Vanduser, Mo., died Sunday, Jan. 24, 2010, at Woodland Hills in Marble Hill.
She was born March 12, 1917, in Oran, Mo., to Early and Eliza Roberts Slinkard. She and Ernest Otto Johnson were married May 16, 1936, in Jackson. He preceded her in death June 17, 2006.
Johnson was a member of Vanduser Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, a sister and a grandchild.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Susanna Johnson of Henderson, Nev.; a daughter and son-in-law, Jo and Mack McCormick of Glenallen, Mo.; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the chapel. The Rev. Tom Bass of Lutesville Presbyterian Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
