DELLA H. SCHAMBURG

PERRYVILLE -- Della H. Schamburg, 87, of Perryville, died Saturday, Aug. 14, 1993 at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born Sept. 12, 1905 in Perry County, daughter of Theodore and Rosa Hacker Guemmer.

On Nov. 17, 1924, she married Martin E. Schamburg. He preceded her in death May 15, 1968.

She is survived by five daughters, LaVerne Fiehler, Cape Girardeau, Dorothy Flentge, Perryville, Helen Meyer, Cape Girardeau, Janet Conrad, Perryville, Betty Brune, Friedheim; one brother, Robert Guemmer, Perryville; one sister, Lillian Royer, St. Louis; 16 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Three brothers and one sister preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid.

Friends may call today from 5-9 p.m. at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel in Perryville and on Monday from 6:30-9:30 a.m. The body will be taken to Immanuel Lutheran Church for funeral service Monday at 11 a.m. The Rev. Jeffrey Lloyd will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
