DELIA F. PROFFER

BLOOMFIELD, Mo. Delia F. Proffer, 90, of the Bloomfield area, died Saturday, March 6, 1993.

She was born Dec. 22, 1902 at Cape Girardeau, daughter of William and Katie Foeste.

She married Eldon Proffer on Dec. 9, 1922. He survives.

Other survivors include a daughter, Vanita Hendley of Bloomfield; a half-sister, Emma Combs of Cape Girardeau; a step-sister, Freida Jones of Cape Girardeau; and two grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.

She lived most of her life in the Bloomfield area. She was a member of the Mt. Pisgah General Baptist Church at Aquilla.

She was a member of the Bloomfield Order of the Easter Star Chapter #385. She worked at Elder Manufacturing Co., before retiring.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home at Bloomfield.
