THEBES, Ill. -- Delanie Pearson, 71, of Thebes died Thursday, Jan. 22, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Sept. 28, 1926, at Gale, daughter of Lawrence O. and Pearl Wilson Hill. She married Marion Pearson on Nov. 26, 1973. He survives.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Thebes.

She is survived by a stepdaughter, Mary Ann Sittner of Freeburg; her mother of Cape Girardeau; and two brothers, Earl Hill of Thebes and Merle Hill of Roll, Ariz.

Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, the Rev. Carl D. Fisher officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Thebes.
