Dedria R "Dee" Gibson, 65, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, at her home.
She was born Sept. 12, 1948, in Paragould, Ark., to Loyal D. and Dorothy M. White.
Dedria was a member of Lighthouse Bible Baptist Church. She had been employed by Famous Barr in St. Louis. Her hobbies were her pets and fishing.
Survivors include her father, Loyal D. Hill of Ellisville, Mo.; a son, James D. (Beth) Walega of Arnold, Mo.; a daughter, Lisa R. (Marty) Willis of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Marion D. "Trigger" (Barb) Hill of Robertsville, Mo.; a sister, Martha M. (Donnie) Jansen of Robertsville; five grandchildren, Gavin, Garrett, Gary, Madeline and Faith; and three great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Miyah and Ava.
She was preceded in death by her mother and a sister, Marsha Fallert.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Lee Thompson officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Holy Cross Cemetery at Ballwin, Mo.
