Debra Kay Abernathy, 51, of Marble Hill, Mo., died Friday, July 21, 2006, at her residence in Marble Hill.
She was born Aug. 2, 1954, in Pontiac, Mich., daughter of Cecil Samuel and Hazel Lucille Trout Abernathy.
Abernathy was a customer service sales representative for SBC for 16 years.
Survivors include her mother, Hazel Abernathy; a daughter, Cora Long of Scopus, Mo.; six sisters, Barbara Stone of Lake Orion, Mich., Mary Pruchnicki of W. Palm Beach, Fla., Martha Swords of Pontiac, Mich., Jackie Barks and Vickie Abernathy, both of Marble Hill; a brother, Mike Abernathy of Marble Hill and a granddaughter.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Gene Robbins officiating. Burial will be at the McGee Chapel in Marble Hill.
