EAST PRAIRIE -- Deborah Sue Smith, 49, of East Prairie died Saturday, June 26, 1999, at her home.
She was born Nov. 17, 1949, at Indianapolis, Ind., daughter of Harry and Jodie Sesler Stovall Patterson.
She had lived in Hamlet, N.C., before moving back to East Prairie. She had worked as an L.P.N. at Hamlet Hospital. She was a member of Outreach for Jesus Church at Hamlet.
Survivors include a daughter, Deena Ward of East Prairie; a son, Donnie Smith of Sikeston; four brothers, Dale, Lance and Tony Patterson all of Indianapolis and Ron Stovall of Frankfort, Ky.; a sister, Tina Emberton of Fayetteville, N.C.; a granddaughter; her step-father, Bill Stovall of Elizabethtown, Ky.; and her step-mother, Mary Zurfas of Monticello, Ind.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Shelby Funeral Home at East Prairie.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel. The Rev. Bob Williams will officiate, with burial in Dogwood Cemetery.
