CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Deborah "Debby" Lee Cook, 69, of Chaffee died Friday, Aug. 3, 2018, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born March 28, 1949, in Cape Girardeau to Frederick Mason and Shirley Wanda Potts Surman Jr. She married William D. "Dub" Cook on Aug. 13, 1967.

She was a child-care provider for many years to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with many others. She worked at Thorngate Ltd. in Chaffee for nearly 10 years and was a cook at Chaffee Public Schools. She was a member of Chaffee First United Methodist Church in Chaffee.

She loved her flowers and was very proud of her home and garden, but she was most proud of her family.

She is survived by her husband; three daughters, Denae (Scott) Ringwald of Cape Girardeau, Lachelle (Randy) Senciboy of Oran, Missouri, and Laura (Tim) Rushing of Chaffee; two sisters, Diane Borneman of Gleason, Tennessee, and Darla Turner of Chaffee; 10 grandchildren, Madison Craigmiles, McKenna (Adam) Sawchak, Paige (Jerrod Steger) Russom, Ethan Craigmiles, Isaac Ringwald, Hayden Craft, Randi Senciboy, Ryan (Christina) Senciboy, Ryan (Heather) Rushing and Aaron (Taylor) Rushingl; and four great-grandchildren, Greta Doria, Lydia Rushing and Levi and Lucas McKinnie.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Don Kuehle officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
