Deborah Buchanan

Deborah Lynn Buchanan, 48, of Scott City died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2004, at her home.

She was born Sept. 24, 1956, in Aurora, Ill., daughter of Harold and Mary Vaughn. She and Dwight "Buck" Buchanan were married July 7, 1977, in Scott City.

Buchanan worked in Central Services at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Megan Palmer of Scott City, Lindsay Aycock of Sikeston, Mo.; her father of Oglesby, Ill.; her mother, Mary Johnson of Scott City; four sisters, Lenda Markowski of St. Charles, Mo., Sue Stulgin of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Sandy Estes of Scott City, Betsy Kurilo of Camas, Wash.; maternal grandfather, Les Grah of Scott City; and two grandsons.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 11 a.m. to service time Friday.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Revs. Dennis Bell and Mark Carbaugh officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery.
