Debra Fay "Debbie" Ruth, 55, of Scott City died Friday, April 8, 2011, at her home.
She was born March 4, 1956, at Desloge, Mo., the daughter of Raymond Thomas and Treva Marjorie Terry Ruth.
She had worked as a certified nurses aide at Southeast Hospital and as a cashier at Schnucks. She was a member of First General Baptist Church at Jackson.
Survivors include a brother, Mike (Betty) Ruth of Scott City; a sister-in-law, Belva Ruth of Scott City; four nieces and nephews, John (Lisa) Ruth, Cindy (Mike) Brown, Holly (Matt) Marret and Joseph (Kristen) Ruth; great-nieces and great-nephews, Brianna, Hallie and Ryan Ruth, Braden and Cody Brown and Bryce and Cole Ruth; and her loving pet and companion, Bella.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Allen Ruth.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with the Revs. Luther Rhodes and Joey Ruth officiating.
Burial will be in Lightner Memorial Cemetery in Scott City.
