JACKSON -- Debbie Miller, 51, of Jackson died at her home Sunday, May 30, 1999.
She was born in St. Louis Jan. 7, 1948, daughter of John and Dorothy Malon Roberts. She married Bill Miller March 24, 1972. He survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Tammy Smith of Jackson; a stepdaughter, Kimberly Heath of Fruitland; two brothers, Lenny Roberts of Park Hills and John Roberts of Lake Charles, La.; a sister, Mary Hagar of Cape Girardeau; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
She attended grade school and high school in St. Louis. In 1969, she opened the first H&R Block tax office in Jackson. She had worked for the former Inland Energy of Farmington and since 1973 worked at the Jackson Wal-Mart store.
She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church of Jackson since 1973. There she taught a Sunday School class and was a member of the Handbells group.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The Rev. David Johnson will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.
