SCOTT CITY -- Funeral service for Debbie Kay May of Mabelvale, Ark., was held Tuesday at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Little Rock, Ark. The Rev. John Connell officiated, with burial in Pinecrest Memorial Park in Little Rock.
Roller-Drummond Southwest Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
May, 38, died Saturday, Aug. 9, 1997, from cancer.
She was born Jan. 5, 1959, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Gustav B. and Mary Kay Kuehn. She married Nathan E. May.
May was formerly of Scott City, moving to Arkansas as a young child. She attended Mt. St. Mary Academy and Arkansas State School of Psychiatric Nursing.
She was head nurse at Otter Creek Family Clinic in Mabelvale. She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Brandy Fletcher of the home; a son, Brian May of the home; a stepson, Nathan May of Memphis, Tenn.; a stepdaughter, Marcia Bias of Memphis; three sisters, Mary Menz of Scott City, Sharon Kelsay of Hot Springs, Ark., Angela Oakley of Little Rock; and a grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
