Dearl W. "Bud" Boyd, 65, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Feb. 27, 2004, in a tractor accident near his home.
He was born June 26, 1938, at Peach Orchard, Mo., son of Earl L. and Afton Pratte Boyd. He and Barbara A. Glendening were married April 29, 1960, at Poplar Bluff, Mo.
Boyd was a project manager for Drury Companies for 32 years. He graduated from Fisk-Rombauer High School in Fisk, Mo., in 1957.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara A. Boyd of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Karen Sebring of Gardner, Kan., and Kim Dougherty of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Donald Boyd of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Earline Adamson of Cape Girardeau; and four grandchildren, Brandon and Blake Bohn and Morgan and Maysi Dougherty.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. today. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Mark Martin officiating. Burial will be in Egypt Mills Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery.
