MOUNDS, Ill. -- Imoludene "Deanie" Baker, 82, of Deltona, Fla., formerly of Mounds, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2011, at Florida Hospital in DeLand, Fla. Deanie was born July 4, 1928, in Pulaski, Ill., daughter of Warren and Cora Anglin. She and William R. Baker were married Nov. 14, 1946...

MOUNDS, Ill. -- Imoludene "Deanie" Baker, 82, of Deltona, Fla., formerly of Mounds, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2011, at Florida Hospital in DeLand, Fla.

Deanie was born July 4, 1928, in Pulaski, Ill., daughter of Warren and Cora Anglin. She and William R. Baker were married Nov. 14, 1946.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; a sister; and a son, Keith Baker.

Deanie was a member of Deltona Lake Baptist Church, and a 50-year member of Order of Eastern Star Caledonia Chapter 587 of Olive Branch, Ill.

Survivors include her husband; a son, retired Lt. Cmdr. Dale (Angie) Baker of Deltona; a daughter, Teresa Baker of Oviedo, Fla.; a sister, Hazel Kingery of Mount Dora, Fla.; several nephews and nieces.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to service time Monday at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge, Ill.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Tom Bridges officiating. Interment will be in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorials to St. Jude Tribute Program at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942, or to American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 2680, North Canton, OH 44720, in memory of Deanie Baker.
