Dayna Rae Reed, 38, of Jackson, formerly of Dexter, Missouri, passed away Thursday, Oct. 26, 2017, at the home of her parents, surrounded by family.
She was born Feb. 16, 1979, in Cape Girardeau to Rodger D. and Constance “Connie” Ratliff Reed.
Dayna was a 1997 Cape Girardeau Central High School graduate. She attended Church of God Fellowship in Cape Girardeau.
Dayna enjoyed watching baseball and was a huge Ozzie Smith fan. She was a loving mother, sister and daughter, and will be deeply missed.
Survivors include her parents of Jackson; daughter, Brittany (Alex) Walton of Jackson; fiancé, Clint Gipson of Holcomb, Missouri; sister, Ravyn (Michael) Walley of Jackson; and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Darren Henderson officiating. Entombment will follow at Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society.
