TAMMS, Ill. -- David Allen Tingle Sr., 60, of Tamms died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2018, near Gale, Illinois.
He was born Sept. 11, 1957, in Hinsdale, Illinois, to Alfred and Phyllis Coiner Tingle.
David was an artist, expressing his art through tattoos. His hobbies included coin collecting and spending time outdoors. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by two sons, David Allen Tingle II of Cape Girardeau and Michael Allen Arnett of Pineville, Louisiana; four grandchildren, Ethan, Emily, Eli and Brad; his father, Alfred Tingle of Bessemer, Alabama; two sisters, Joann Bell of Romeoville, Illinois, and Betty Tingle of Bessemer; one brother, Harold Tingle of Bessemer; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and his faithful dog, Kilo.
He was preceded in death by his mother; his grandmother, Ollie Stroup; and his dog, Tasha.
The family will host a celebration of his life at a later date.
Crain Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Cape Girardeau is in charge of arrangements.
