David Keith Reeves, originally from Pulaski, Illinois, transitioned peacefully Tuesday morning, May 8, 2018, at his daughter's home, surrounded by his loved ones.
Dave was born May 10, 1949, to Carl and Muriel "Mermie" Palmer Reeves of Pulaski.
He will be remembered by his many accomplishments, which include his service in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and as a master electrician. He was a graduate of the last class from Mounds Township High School in Mounds, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Carolyn Sue Jones; and a brother, Larry Reeves.
Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Keith Reeves of Phoenix, Ezra Reeves of Atlanta and Luke Reeves of St. Louis; daughter, Heather Reeves-Boyd of Tampa, Florida; and several beautiful grandchildren, Isaiah Reeves, Mariah Reeves, Addison Reeves, Ezra Reeves Jr. and Shannon Reeves.
A celebration of his life will be held at noon Saturday at Legendz Bar & Grill, 12236 State Highway 25, Chaffee, Missouri.
A memorial service will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis. Inurnment will follow.
