DAVID R. DEMENT

JACKSON -- Funeral service for David R. Dement of Memphis, Tenn., will be held at 2 p.m. today at White-Sanders Funeral Chapel in Fisk. The Rev. Larry Ward will officiate, with burial in Brown Chapel Cemetery at Broseley.

Friends may call at the funeral home at 1 p.m.

Dement, 32, died Friday, Dec. 24, 1993, at the home of his mother in Jackson.

The son of Betty A. Blumenberg and James Felton Dement, he attended Holcomb and Gideon Schools. He graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 1984. He was tuition refund director and corporate librarian with Federal Express in Memphis.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Betty and Kenneth M. Hudson of Jackson; his father of Poplar Bluff; a sister, Dawn Detring of Jackson, and a brother, James Dement of Tulsa, Okla.
