DAVID LEE BAILEY

STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. -- David Lee Bailey, 47, of Stockbridge, formerly of Sikeston, Mo., died Thursday, Aug. 23 in Riverdale, Ga.

He was born July 26, 1954, in O'Fallon, Ill., son of Betty Simpson and Frank "Ben" Bailey. He and Barbara Tate were married.

Bailey was a 1972 graduate of Sikeston High School.

Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Mistee Myrick of Scott City, Mo., Beth Kern of New Hamburg, Mo., Christina and Carrie Bailey, both of Sikeston; a brother, Gary Laster of Tampa, Fla.; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.

A graveside funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jonesboro City Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ga. Arrangements are under the direction of Tara Garden Chapel in Jonesboro.
