DAVID L. BASLER

COBDEN, Ill. -- David L. Basler, 29, of Cobden, died Saturday, Sept. 7, 1996, in an automobile accident south of Ware.

He was born July 27, 1967, in Carbondale, son of Louis Jerry and Carol M. Arnold Basler. He was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Cobden.

He is survived by his father; two sons, Joshua Lee and Louis Benjamin Basler, both of Anna; and his paternal grandmother, Lettie Basler, of Cobden.

He was preceded in death by his mother and a brother.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the Lutz & Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Clifford Heil officiating. Burial will be in the Cobden cemetery.
