DAVID L. BAINTER

JACKSON -- Funeral service for David L. Bainter of Jackson will be held at 1 p.m. today at Morrison Funeral Chapel in Piedmont. Burial will be in Bainter Family Cemetery in Wayne County.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. to service time.

Bainter, 44, died Tuesday, April 5, 1994, at his home.

He was born Dec. 20, 1949, in St. Louis, son of Virgil and Gwendolyne Osborne Bainter. He and Lori Jones were married Jan. 10, 1986, at DeSoto.

Bainter was a self-employed carpenter, and member of Perryville Apostolic Tabernacle. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Preston Pogue of Pacific; two daughters, Dawn Buckley of St. Louis, Rachel Barth of Oak Ridge; three brothers, Virgil Bainter of Springfield, John Bainter of Perryville, Paul Bainter of Farmington, and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son and a brother.
