BREWER, Mo. -- David J. Huber, 85, of Brewer died Wednesday, April 2, 2003, at his home. He was born Oct. 31, 1917, in Perry County, son of Otto A. and Emily M. Moranville Huber. He and Norma D. Cambron were married Nov. 20, 1943. Huber retired from Carpenters Union Local 2214 in St. Louis. He was a member of Christ the Savior Catholic Church and its Holy Name Society at Brewer, American Legion Post 133 and VFW Post 4282 in Perryville, Mo...

BREWER, Mo. -- David J. Huber, 85, of Brewer died Wednesday, April 2, 2003, at his home.

He was born Oct. 31, 1917, in Perry County, son of Otto A. and Emily M. Moranville Huber. He and Norma D. Cambron were married Nov. 20, 1943.

Huber retired from Carpenters Union Local 2214 in St. Louis. He was a member of Christ the Savior Catholic Church and its Holy Name Society at Brewer, American Legion Post 133 and VFW Post 4282 in Perryville, Mo.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Danny Huber of Cape Girardeau, Glennon Huber of Brewer; two daughters, Velda Unterreiner and Marlene Wibbenmeyer of Brewer; three sisters, Cleo Bohnert of DeSoto, Mo., Marie Antonini of Pekin, Ill., Erline Fiala of Rocky Ridge, Mo.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a twin brother and two other brothers, and a sister.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville from 4 to 9 p.m. today, and Friday from 6:30 to 9:50 a.m. The parish wake will be at 7 tonight, American Legion wake at 7:15, and VFW wake at 7:30. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Friday.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Christ the Savior Catholic Church. The Rev. Felipe Martinez will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery, with military graveside rites by American Legion Post 133.
