David Wayne Garrett, 40, of Scott City died Saturday, June 24, 2006, at his home. He was born May 8, 1966, in Naples, Fla., son of Sammie Eugene and Vonda Jean Nickles Garrett. Survivors include his father of Chaffee, Mo.; a daughter, Jessica Marie Garrett of Scott City; two brothers, Richard Garrett of Marston, Mo., and Marvin Garrett of Scott City...

He was born May 8, 1966, in Naples, Fla., son of Sammie Eugene and Vonda Jean Nickles Garrett.

Survivors include his father of Chaffee, Mo.; a daughter, Jessica Marie Garrett of Scott City; two brothers, Richard Garrett of Marston, Mo., and Marvin Garrett of Scott City.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. today in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.
