DEXTER -- David Wayne Fowler, 30, of Dexter died Thursday, Sept. 5, 1996, at his home.
He was born Sept. 21, 1965, at Dexter, son of Marion "Pete" and Linda Sue Brown Fowler. He and LaDonna McElrath were married Oct. 1, 1984, at Dexter.
Fowler was a self-employed carpet installer, and previously worked at Arvin Automotive. A lifelong resident of Dexter, he was a member of Dexter Elks Lodge.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Jennifer and Linda Fowler of Dexter; his parents of Dexter; a brother, Tim Fowler of Dexter; maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Thelma Brown of Dexter; and paternal grandmother, Arel Fowler of Gray Ridge.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-9 p.m. today.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Essex Cemetery in Essex, with the Rev. Doyle Corlew officiating.
