David Louis Dysinger, 82, of Jackson passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. He was born Sept. 19, 1940, in Delta, son of the late Delmar and Pearl Kittle Dysinger. David was a member of First Baptist Church in Jackson. He enjoyed sports, especially college basketball and the St. Louis Cardinals. "Papaw" was always his biggest and best role, and he was the best Papaw ever...

David Louis Dysinger, 82, of Jackson passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Sept. 19, 1940, in Delta, son of the late Delmar and Pearl Kittle Dysinger.

David was a member of First Baptist Church in Jackson. He enjoyed sports, especially college basketball and the St. Louis Cardinals. "Papaw" was always his biggest and best role, and he was the best Papaw ever.

Loving survivors include special friend Fern Judd of Jackson; four children, Rebecca Kimbel of Marble Hill, Missouri, Jeffrey Grace of Savage, Minnesota, Jennifer Inman of Jackson and Matthew Dysinger of Carthage, Missouri; and a brother, William Dysinger of Chaffee, Missouri.

David was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Lisa Sexton, in 2007; and three siblings, Minnie Dysinger, Charles Dysinger and Robert Dysinger.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday, May 16, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

Funeral will follow at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 16, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Christopher Dysinger officiating. Burial will follow at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.

Memorials may take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society in honor of his late daughter, Lisa, or to American Diabetes Association.
