David Andre Doria, 68, of Scott City died Friday, March 1, 2019, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born June 2, 1950, in St. Louis to Joseph H. and Virginia E. Reaves Doria. He married Betty Stull on Oct 13, 1973.

He was a captain for Luhrs Bros. for 36 years. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Scott City and a member of NRA.

He is survived by his wife, Betty; a son, David J. (Angel) Doria of Scott City; two daughters, Lisa A. (Jim) O'Brien of St. Charles, Missouri, and Sara D. St. Mary of Lake Cormorant, Mississippi; six grandchildren, Duston J. O'Brien, Vincent J. (Jessica) Doria, Andrea M. O'Brien, Moriah K. Doria, Gabrielle E. St. Mary and Silas A. St. Mary; three great-grandchildren, Greta, Brentley and Mason; four brothers, Joseph R. (Linda) Doria of Texas, Ramon M. Doria of Arkansas, James R. Doria of Missouri and Allen N. Doria of Missouri; a sister, Judith G. Doria of Missouri; and a sister-in-law, Barb Doria of Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Betty Jean LoChirco.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at First Assembly of God Church in Scott City.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the church, with the Revs. Randy Morse and Dave Truncone officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
