PULASKI, Ill. -- Funeral for David Crown of Pulaski will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Ullin, Ill., from 5-8 p.m. today, and Friday at the church after 11 a.m.
Crown, 82, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2001, at his home.
He was born Dec. 10, 1918, in Dalton, Ark., son of James Emmett and Betty Levil Crown. He and Leone McReynolds were married Aug. 12, 1950.
Crown retired as a foreman from Burkart and Cairo River and Rail.
Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Rita Krayson of Pulaski, Sandra Sharp of Metropolis, Ill., Joyce Christler of Denver, Colo., Brenda Larry of Villa Ridge, Ill; a brother, Arbey Crown of Thebes, Ill.; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
