David Milton Clack, 65, of Denver, Colo., died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2007, in Porter Memorial Hospital in Denver, Colo., following an extended illness. David Milton Clack, 65, of Denver, Colo., died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2007, in Porter Memorial Hospital in Denver, Colo., following an extended illness.

He was born Jan. 20, 1941, in Charleston, Mo., son of Milton and Ida Ruth Black Clack.

Clack was a graduate of Charleston High School, and received a degree in business administration from Mississippi State University.

He served 11 years in the U.S. Air Force. He then worked for the federal government with the agencies of Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation and Bureau of Fish and Wildlife. He had lived in Denver 33 years and attended St. Andrew United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Rita; a daughter, Christy Clack of Lakewood, Colo.; and a sister, Mary Ann DeLine of Cape Girardeau.

Visitation will be at 6 p.m. Monday at Horan and McConaty Funeral Home in Lakewood.

The funeral will be at noon Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Cindy Bates officiating. Burial will be in Fort Logan National Cemetery in Littleton, Colo., with full military honors.
