CHAFFEE, Mo. --David Joseph Burckhardt died at birth Friday, April 8, 2005, at Poplar Bluff Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Mo. He was the son of David Thomas and Eva Yvonne Ewing Burckhardt. Survivors include his parents; paternal grandparents, David John and Joan Edmond Burckhardt of Chaffee; maternal grandmother, Betty Sue Duty of Manito, Ill.; paternal great-grandfather, Ronald H. Burckhardt of St. Louis; and maternal great-grandmother, Lavern Marie Ryan of Mason City, Ill...

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather.

A graveside ceremony was held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Union Park Cemetery, with the Rev. Travis Hendrix officiating.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel of Chaffee was in charge of arrangements.
