MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Darrell Gene "Reb" Masters Jr., 52, of Marble Hill died at his home Sunday, Feb. 21, 2016. Born in Fort Benning, Georgia, on May 26, 1963, he was the son of Darrell Gene and Loine Mildred Faries Masters Sr. He worked as a truck driver for many years and was a veteran of the U.S. Army and the Missouri National Guard. He and Effie Hovis Masters were married for 33 years. She survives...

MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Darrell Gene "Reb" Masters Jr., 52, of Marble Hill died at his home Sunday, Feb. 21, 2016. Born in Fort Benning, Georgia, on May 26, 1963, he was the son of Darrell Gene and Loine Mildred Faries Masters Sr.

He worked as a truck driver for many years and was a veteran of the U.S. Army and the Missouri National Guard. He and Effie Hovis Masters were married for 33 years. She survives.

Other survivors include a son, David Eric Masters of Marble Hill; his father, Darrell G. (Wanda) Masters Sr. of Marble Hill; his mother, Loine (Floyd) Penny of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Rhonda (Chuck) Wilson of Jackson; a brother, Darren F. (Charlotte) Masters of Norman, Oklahoma; and two grandchildren, Addyson and Brantley Masters.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Grassy Friendship Cemetery near Glenallen, Missouri.
