BELL CITY -- Dareyl D. Henry, 24, of Bell City, was dead on arrival Saturday, Aug. 25, 1991, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. He had been stabbed.

He was born Oct. 4, 1966, in Advance, son of George Howard Henry Jr. and Fannie May Cook.

Henry was a 1985 graduate of Bell City High School, and was employed at Bunny Bread Co. in Sikeston.

Survivors include a daughter, Delana Henry of Sikeston; his father of Bell City; two brothers, Larry Cook of Detroit, Mich., Oscar Franklin of East St. Louis, Ill.; three sisters, Sylvia Cook of Saginaw, Mich., Cheryl Henry of Sumter, S.C., Terra Woods of Sikeston, and his fiancee, Delores Simmons of Sikeston.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Sikeston. The Rev. J.L. Nabors will officiate, with burial in J.C. Pullen Memorial Gardens here.

Friends may call at Williams-Farr & Purnell Funeral Home in Sikeston from 7-8 tonight.
