SCOTT CITY -- Danny Edward Brashear, 52, of Scott City died Wednesday, March 15, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Nov. 13, 1947, at Sikeston, son of Clarence Edward and Sherma Pauline Nation Brashear. He and Verna Louise Shuffit were married Sept. 5, 1976, in Scott City.
Brashear was a tool and die maker at Blair Industries. He moved to Scott City 30 years ago from Oran.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Daniel Brashear of Scott City; his mother of Oran; two brothers, Dick Brashear of Scott City, Tom Brashear of Oran; and a sister, Sondra Trankler of Oran.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Randy Morse officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Memorial Cemetery.
