DANIEL ZANDER

SCOTT CITY -- Daniel Michael Zander, 70, of Scott City died Tuesday, July 6, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Sept. 15, 1928, in Chicago, son of Michael and Stella Bury Zander. He and Mary Dakin were married Nov. 15, 1975, in Chicago.

Zander had been a custodian at Scott City Schools, and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He moved to Scott City in 1987 from Chicago.

He is survived by his wife.

Zander was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City after 5 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Patrick Wissman officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
