Daniel David Mueller, 77, of Cape Girardeau passed away Saturday, May 9, 2020, at the Missouri Veterans Home. Daniel was born June 5, 1942, in St. Louis to Martin and Lydia Mueller. He and Nancy Haynie were married Feb. 25, 1984. He graduated from Lutheran South High School in 1960 and then served in the U.S. Army. After his honorable discharge, he worked for 30 years with Xerox before retiring. He was member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church...

Daniel David Mueller, 77, of Cape Girardeau passed away Saturday, May 9, 2020, at the Missouri Veterans Home.

Daniel was born June 5, 1942, in St. Louis to Martin and Lydia Mueller. He and Nancy Haynie were married Feb. 25, 1984.

He graduated from Lutheran South High School in 1960 and then served in the U.S. Army. After his honorable discharge, he worked for 30 years with Xerox before retiring. He was member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

Dan had an appreciation of the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing and especially golf. He was passionate in his love for his family.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Mueller; sons, Matthew (Tammy) Mueller and Nathan (Traci) Mueller; brothers, Leslie (Evve) Mueller of Wildwood, Missouri, and Marc (Missy) Mueller of Denver; and grandchildren, Luke, Lane, Laurel, Austin and Ashlyn.

Services will be Friday at Good Shepard Lutheran Church, with visitation at 9 a.m. and memorial service at 11 a.m. Pastor Weston Wildauer will officiate. Burial, with full military graveside honors, will be at McGee (Missouri) New Hope Cemetery, with the Rev. Keith Price officiating.

The family requests memorials be given to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church or Saxony Lutheran High School.
