MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Daniel P. Harmon, 83, of Marble Hill died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, at Chaffee Nursing Home in Chaffee, Mo.
He was born Sept. 15, 1929, at Perkins, Mo., son of Thomas M. and Mary Jane Faughn Harmon. He and Frances V. Kinnard were married Dec. 4, 1954.
Daniel was a retired bridge inspector with the former Frisco Railroad, and attended Lutesville Presbyterian Church.
He was a Navy veteran of the Korean conflict.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Harmon of Marble Hill; two sons, Daniel Clay (Tammy) Harmon of Chaffee, James Robert Holt of Somerset, Ky.; a sister, Mary Ella Rhodes of Arnold, Mo.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Tom Bass officiating. Interment will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill, with full military honors by Missouri Honors Team.
