Daniel Wayne "Danny" Gribble Sr., 68, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, May 9, 2016, at Southeast Hospital. He was born March 21, 1948, in Cape Girardeau. He and Joanie Russell Gribble were married Sept. 18, 1970, at Cape Girardeau. Daniel Wayne "Danny" Gribble Sr., 68, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, May 9, 2016, at Southeast Hospital.
He was born March 21, 1948, in Cape Girardeau. He and Joanie Russell Gribble were married Sept. 18, 1970, at Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include his wife, Joanie Gribble of Cape Girardeau; and two sons, Daniel Wayne Gribble Jr. and Cory Gribble, both of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Danny thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, riding ATVs and camping. He had worked for the city of Cape Girardeau and Nip Kelley Construction for many years.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Donations to assist the family with funeral expenses are requested to be given to the funeral home.
